I say it’s like an underwire for the face–other comments I have commonly heard are “botox in a jar” and “instant face lift”. Beauticontrol is on the list provided by PETA of companies that do not test on animals! Many companies say they do not test on animals, however PETA has investigated and done the research to back up only the companies that truly do not do animal testing.
Not surprising, as animals don’t particularly look good with cosmetics on, or use spa products and microdermabrasion!
Now I can understand a company testing dog shampoo or dog treats on animals, as you certainly wouldn’t consume a dog treat if you were a human. I can also understand a drug company testing a human drug on a human–how else would we know about the safety of the medication. Sadly, my dog was put on a medication that had not been properly tested on dogs–he almost died as a result. So in essence, I am very much supportive of a company that does not do animal testing on products not created specifically for animals. However, veterinary medicines must be tested in some way, to protect the health of the very loved animal you spend your life with.
